California's schools are facing the largest round of education cuts ever proposed in the state -- a staggering $4.8 billion, equal to nearly $800 per student and $24,000 per classroom. On May 14th, education groups state-wide including parent, teacher, support personnel, administrators, and school board members will be joining forces to demand adequate funding for California Schools.

Envirocents at Whole Foods Market

Sebastopol Whole Foods is supporting the Climate Protection Campaign through their Envirocents program. At check out registers are “Change for a Change” boxes where you can put change and additional contributions for the Campaign. Also, for every bag that you bring in to use for groceries, Whole Foods will donate $.05 to the Climate Protection Campaign.
